The Busks are a multi-instrumentalist group, who write and perform their own compositions. The band plays an easygoing, jangly, and melodic style of rock -- a groovy throwback to the original pioneers of pop-rock in the 1960s -- peppered with a bit of a modern/alternative/indie-folk vibe. They have played extensively in the middle TN area, as well as other venues throughout the southeastern US. They have also been featured multiple times on Nashville's Lightning 100 and have been nominated for awards such as rock album of the year by Indie Ville TV. They feel most at home experimenting and writing in the studio. The Busks are currently releasing singles in anticipation of their Halloween EP "Don't Take Candy From Stagers", with their most recent single being Outer Space.
